From Monday 14 December travellers entering the UK will now need to quarantine for 10 days instead of 14 days, if they are returning from a country not on the travel corridor list.
Along with this, the UK government has now provided an option of reduced quarantine of 5 days for travellers who choose to take a private test.
Under this new scheme you can pay for a private COVID-19 test 5 days after you have left a destination not on the travel corridor list.
