Eva Air Receives Prestigious 5 Star Ranking from SkyTrax

THE AIRLINE NOW JOINS ELITE GROUP OF ONLY 8 CARRIERS IN THE  WORLD

21st June 2016 – EVA Air, Taiwan’s leading independent airline, has been awarded with SKYTRAX’s highest global quality rating, the prestigious 5-Star Airline Ranking, becoming only the world’s eighth airline to join an elite group of carriers that are recognised as “the best of the best”.

SKYTRAX – the international air transport standards and quality rating organisation – recognised EVA Air’s potential for five stars as a result of a number of in-depth analyses across the carrier’s product and service delivery after sending auditors to fly EVA Air on multiple routes from different gateways, sampling all cabin classes during the year-long process.

Recognised for its high standards from the very first review of the airline in 2008, EVA Air, which operates direct daily flights from London Heathrow to Taipei via Bangkok, carried a four-star rating. The airline is now honoured to carry SKYTRAX’s most prestigious ranking, thanks to the high standards of its airport facilities, on board product and front line staff.

Carrying high-quality product across three stylish and comfortable cabin classes – Economy Class, Elite Class (Premium Economy) and Royal Laurel Class (Business) – EVA Air offers their passengers the ultimate on-board experience, serving freshly prepared meals, providing state-of-the art entertainment systems with an extensive movie library and, for those who like to stay connected, delivering an exclusive Wi-Fi and SMS service. Individual seat selection is available at the time of purchase, while the carrier’s new, generous baggage allowances welcomes up to 30kg in Economy Class, 35kg in Elite Class and 40kg in Royal Laurel Class.
